Kevin Eikamp began Eikamp Insurance Agency in 1987 offering life and health insurance and investment services. In 1999 the agency began to offer auto, home, farm, crop, and business insurance, merging with other agencies over the next few years.

Pete Eikamp joined the agency in 2002, and Wendy Wieben in 2007.

In 2004, the business moved to its present location at 314 Main Street.
